Even though pickleball has been one of the fastest-growing sports in America for many years in a row, it’s still in tennis’s shadow.
In tennis, you can find a massive variety of top-of-the-line ball machines. For pickleball, there are fewer options.
But just recently, there has been a big development in pickleball.
One of tennis’s most popular ball machines has gotten a pickleball equivalent. The Pickleball Slinger, from Slinger.
I actually had the chance to play with the Pickleball Slinger prototype, after Slinger asked me to be a part of their backend development.
I tell the story in this video.

Alright, another new product. Here we have the Pickleball Slinger.
Kalindi:
Last but absolutely not least – this product was launched in the spring. And for those of you who are not aware, Slinger is an amazing company.
Their tennis ball machine, the Slinger Grand Slam Launcher, is super popular, one of the most popular tennis ball machines on the market right now. Which we have on our site.
But then they came out with a pickleball one, and that has been really awesome, really well received.
I actually was asked to be on the backend of this product’s design, so I got to use the prototype. And I was just floored when I tried it out because it just checked all the boxes.

✅It’s completely portable
✅It’s VERY affordable
✅It’s so easy to set up, use, adjust, and put away
I just think it’s going to be taking the pickleball world by storm.
I could go on and on, but for the sake of time, I’ll leave it at that.

And, perhaps most importantly, all your friends will think you’re very cool.

Oh, for sure. I mean, who wouldn’t want to roll up to the court with a duffle bag with your friends, and it turns out, oh, it’s a ball machine?
You know, when I was play-testing this, anytime there were some players nearby, they always came over and asked what it was and were really drawn to it.
